To grade an assignment with a rubric using the Chalkup mobile app for iOS, begin by tapping the icon in the top left corner of your app dashboard to reveal your overview options.
Next, tap on the course which houses an assignment you'd like to grade. The next window should display recent activity in that class. To grade a recent assignment, tap the grading button in the bottom right of your screen.
You are now looking at all gradeable assignments in Chalkup. If you're not seeing something new, slide down to refresh.
Tapping on an assignment will show all members of the course and an associated grade, if the assignment has already been graded. If the assignment has not been graded, click on a student name to do so.
You'll be able to review a file submission and enter a numeric grade. If you would like to grade with a rubric, click the "rubric" option in the top right-hand corner of the page.
Once your rubric is revealed, tap through your desired selections for grading. Finish by tapping "Save" in the top right-hand corner.
Your grades will be saved and you will return to the student submission page. Clicking "Close" in the top left-hand corner will take you back to your list of students for more grading.
